That's how your players learn to save the goal after losing the ball
Procedure: Three teams, each with four players, are assigned. One team remains outside both fields and acts as chasers, trying to gain possession of the ball in both fields. The trainer decides with their pass which field the chasers have to run to. If the attacking team can complete three passes successfully, the defenders have not achieved their goal.
Coaching points: The trainer’s pass symbolizes the loss of possession. Make sure to communicate this as well. A quick and intense reaction to the loss of possession is essential. The focus is on applying effective pressure. An attractive points system can help with motivation.
